How we research, rate and rank World Cup 2026 betting operators — and the lines we will not cross.

Ranking criteria

Every operator on this site is scored across six dimensions, each weighted equally:

  1. Welcome bonus value — headline amount, rollover requirement, eligible markets, expiry, and how easy it is to actually claim.
  2. Licensing and regulation — which jurisdiction issues the licence, dispute-resolution mechanism, AML/KYC posture, and whether the operator is on any national blacklists in the markets it serves.
  3. Payout speed and payment methods — supported deposit and withdrawal options (bank, e-wallet, card, crypto), realistic payout windows per method, and any per-locale restrictions.
  4. Markets and odds — depth of pre-match and live markets for World Cup fixtures, plus a spot-check of how the operator's odds compare to the market average on a sample of matches.
  5. Mobile experience — responsive web and native app on iOS and Android, load performance, ease of bet placement, and live-streaming availability.
  6. Customer support — supported languages, availability hours, response times via live chat and email, and the quality of the help-centre documentation.

The composite score determines ranking. We publish the score in the operator review header, and we update scores as new evidence comes in (a bonus changes, a licence is revoked, complaints stack up).

How we gather evidence

For each operator review we:

  • Open a real account and complete identity verification.
  • Deposit a small amount with the locale-specific method we expect a reader to use.
  • Place test bets across pre-match and live markets to evaluate odds, latency and limits.
  • Request a withdrawal to measure payout time end-to-end.
  • Open at least one live-chat conversation to evaluate support quality and language coverage.

Affiliate relationships

We earn commission when a reader signs up with an operator we link to. This is disclosed on every page that contains an affiliate link (the disclosure appears at the top of every review page and in the site footer). Commission rates and payment terms vary by operator, but rate does not influence ranking — see "Ranking criteria" above.

If we sign a partnership with an operator we have previously rated negatively, we will publicly note the change of relationship on the review page and re-evaluate the rating using the same criteria as every other operator.

Corrections and complaints

If you spot a factual error — a wrong odds quote, a bonus that no longer applies, a misattributed source — please email the address on the contact page. We will correct, and timestamp the correction at the bottom of the affected page.
